Special Thanks to Our Sponsors

A special thanks to DBCPR + New Media, who co-produced this first event with us. Thanks also to Jess3, TechCocktail and Genius Rocket. Last but not least, thanks to our friends at Baked & Wired.

Rapid Response: Using Social Media in a Crisis

Wilson talked about the HHS/FDA/CDC Social Media page which was set up — in only four days — to educate consumers and enable them to spread the word about the Peanut Butter Product recall related to salmonella. He also told us about crowdsourcing the new HHS Center for New Media.

No April Fool’s

* The first 10 registrants each received a signed copy of The Corporate Blogging Book by Debbie Weil. (One copy per company or organization attending.)

* Every attendee got (at least) one yummy cupcake.
